Terms

About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of our website, the Member Portal, the Partner Dashboard and our referral flow (together, the "platform"), operated by Payoff Home Loan Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000), holder of Australian Credit Licence 000000 ("we", "us" or "our").

By using the platform you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. They were last updated in June 2026.

Using our site and portal

  • We use passwordless sign-in: we email you a secure, single-use link to log in. Keep your email account secure and never share a login link — anyone with it can access your account.
  • Use the platform only for its intended purpose and lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, access data that is not yours, or misuse it in any way.
  • The platform, including its content, branding and software, is our intellectual property (or used under licence) and is protected by law.
  • We aim to keep the platform available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and may carry out maintenance or make changes.
  • We may suspend or close an account that is misused or used in breach of these terms.

General information, not advice

The website and portal provide general information only. They are not financial, credit or tax advice, and do not take account of your personal circumstances. Any credit assistance is provided to you by a licensed broker who acts in your best interests under the Best Interests Duty.

Any figures shown, such as indicative interest rates or repayments, are indicative only, may change, and are not an offer of credit. We do not guarantee any approval, outcome or saving.

How referrals and the thank-you work

Our referral program is simple and warm. A Member can introduce someone they know, or that person can introduce themselves through our form. A licensed broker then contacts the introduced person with no obligation to proceed.

The Member who made the introduction may receive a thank-you from us if a loan settles. The person who was introduced pays nothing for being referred, and the referral never affects their loan, their rate or the advice they receive.

Member rewards

  • A thank-you reward is payable only if the introduced loan settles with us. It is paid by us in accordance with our published reward schedule.
  • Once a reward is paid, it is non-refundable. We may reduce or withhold a reward before it is paid if the deal reverses, is cancelled or is clawed back within the clawback period.
  • A reward may be assessable income. We do not provide tax advice — please seek your own advice about your situation.
  • If you are registered for GST, the reward is treated as GST-inclusive and we may issue a Recipient-Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) under an agreement with you.
  • Instead of receiving a reward yourself, you can choose to donate it to one of the charities listed on the platform.

What we ask of referrers

Introducing a friend is about goodwill, not selling. To keep everyone on the right side of the law, when you introduce someone please:

  • only introduce people you know who are genuinely interested in a home loan;
  • share their details with us only with their consent;
  • do not give credit advice, or recommend or name particular products, lenders or interest rates;
  • do not help anyone complete an application;
  • do not charge anyone a fee for an introduction; and
  • do not send spam or unsolicited messages on our behalf.

Changes to the program

We may change the referral program from time to time, on a prospective basis and with reasonable notice. Any rewards you have already earned under the program are protected and will be honoured. You can stop taking part at any time, without penalty.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights to access, correct and complain.

Complaints and AFCA

If something is not right, please tell us first at hello@payoffhomeloan.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 30 days — within 21 days for complaints involving credit-related financial hardship.

If your complaint is not resolved, or you are not satisfied with our response, you can take it to our free and independent external dispute resolution scheme: the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) — afca.org.au, 1800 931 678, GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001. You should contact AFCA within 2 years of our final response.

Financial hardship

If you are a borrower and you are having trouble meeting your repayments, you may be able to request hardship assistance under the National Credit Code. Please contact us early at hello@payoffhomeloan.com.au so we can talk through your options.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the platform or its general information. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that place.
